Terms of Service

ChatAssist is a platform through which companies manage their customer conversations from messaging channels (Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Instagram) in a single inbox, with the help of an AI assistant that analyses the messages and suggests or sends replies, in accordance with the rules configured by the company.

• The account belongs to the company; its administrator manages the employees' access and is answerable for their actions on the platform.
• Channels (Facebook pages, Instagram accounts, Telegram bots) are connected through the official authorisation flow of each platform. The company confirms that it is entitled to connect those accounts and remains responsible for complying with the terms of the connected platforms (including the Meta and Telegram policies).
• The access tokens received upon authorisation are stored encrypted and used exclusively for the operation of the service.

• The degree of automation is chosen by the company, per channel: suggestions only, immediate automatic replies, or delayed automatic replies with the possibility of cancelling them.
• AI replies are generated by a language model and may contain errors. The company remains responsible for the communication with its own customers, including for the replies sent automatically under the configuration it has chosen.
• When the assistant does not have enough information or the subject is sensitive, the conversation is handed over to a human operator.

The platform may not be used for:

• spam, unsolicited bulk messaging or deception;
• unlawful content, harassment or the infringement of the rights of others;
• circumventing the technical limits of the connected platforms or of ChatAssist;
• processing customers' personal data outside the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend accounts that breach these rules, with prior notice where that is reasonable.

The way in which we process data — including our role as data processor for the conversations of client companies, the providers used, the retention periods and the rights of data subjects — is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Deletion requests are handled as set out on the Data deletion page.

• The service depends on third-party platforms (Meta, Telegram, hosting and AI providers). We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation when those platforms suffer outages or change their terms.
• The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts paid by the company for the service over the last 12 months.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The company may stop using the service at any time. Upon termination, the channels are disconnected and the data is deleted or handed over in accordance with the Privacy Policy and with statutory retention obligations.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Moldova; disputes are settled by the competent courts of Chișinău, after a reasonable attempt at an amicable settlement. You can write to us at vladw239@gmail.com.

We may update these terms; the current version is published permanently at this address, together with the date it was updated.
